I’ll be heading down to San Diego on Saturday for Comic-Con / waiting in line to get into Comic-Con, so if you’re there too and you see me, say hello. I’ll be the fat, sweaty nerd with a stupid-looking beard, so…basically Comic-Con for me is like that scene in Being John Malkovich when Malkovich goes inside his own head. Anyway, though seriously, if you are reading this and you are in San Diego and you do see me walking around and you do say hello, I’ll probably be so flabbergasted I’ll give you a dollar. (I realize the overlapping section of the Venn diagram of “people who are reading this” and “people who will be at Comic-Con” pretty much just includes the dude I’m driving down there with, but still.) Because of Comic-Con fun the next chapter of “Robot Jesus RIP” won’t appear on Monday, but there will be a SAN DIEGO SPECIAL EDITION of Lil’ Gardner’s Sketchbook Adventures, probably featuring increasingly incoherent drawings of Lil’ Gardner screaming about waiting in line.
